Inject audio and probe at board level with Prism Sound test equipment
Prism Sound leads the way in semiconductor audio test and measurement tools. To be able to achieve this, you have to be able to get at the audio at board level. For digital audio, the VSIO adaptor for the dScope Series III audio analyzer allows you to do this with ease. It is the only multiple format I2C capable multichannel digital serial interface that provides 16 channels of audio data on one wire plus a dedicated control port for I2C or SDI serial communications; ideal for all your chip level audio design requirements. The VSIO can transact up to 16 multiplexed channels on a single wire or up to eight on each of two wires, or up to four on each of four wires without reconfiguring any interface cabling.
Communicate with your devices directly
The I2C and SDI serial communication capabilities are available under automation control allowing multiple device configuration testing with no human intervention. This together with totally independent clocks, exact timing arrangements of the serial multiplex signals, their electrical properties and the first of its kind timing panel makes the VSIO companion instrument to the dScope Series III the most flexible and easiest to use serial audio multiplex interface device of its kind.
