Application Notes: LOUDSOFT Micro Driver Simulations

A couple of case studies looking at the design processes involved in simulating and optimising two micro drivers, one a 15mm micro speaker suitable for mobile telephony applications and the second a 38mm headphone driver.

Topics covered include cone design using LOUDSOFT FINECone FEA software, and design of the magnet / motor system using LOUDSOFT FINEMotor including the use of ferrofluid. In addition, the use of LOUDSOFT FINEBox to design enclosures for micro speakers is also covered.
