ABBEY ROAD GOES 192kHz WITH ADA-8XR
Prism Sound
has been manufacturing professional audio equipment for the past
eighteen years. The Prism Sound ADA-8 was introduced to the market back
in 2000 since then it has gone on to become one of the most desirable
and well respected converters in the world today. It provides all the
features that today's modern recording engineer demands. The New
ADA-8XR takes it to the next level.
When Abbey Road went searching for a converter for their Pro-tools
systems they looked no further than the Prism Sound ADA-8,
its clarity, flexibility and outstanding performance
provided them with the solutions to all their requirements. Today still
wanting to provide their customers with the latest in technological
advances they wanted to see the latest offering from Prism Sound the
ADA-8XR. They wanted to hear for themselves the new 192kHz performance
and the enhancements that had been made to the already successful
ADA-8. Their rigorous testing meant that the ADA-8XR would be put
through it paces not only on one type of material or session but, on a
multitude of applications. Its build quality and performance
meant it came through with flying colours. They were so impressed they
kept the unit and there is now talk of upgrading all their current
units. The ADA-8XR is setting new heights in converter performance and
raising the bar in converter technology
Prism Sound Sales Manager, Jody Thorne Quotes “ Prism Sound
has been working with Abbey Road for many years. The relationship has
grown stronger year on year through our ability to provide converters
which deliver no matter what demands are placed upon them, but also the
reassurance that a responsive support team is always available should
they require any technical assistance.”
