Bluetooth Headset Testing

Watch a free webinar introducing the principles of analysing the various audio sub-components and modes of functionality of a Bluetooth audio headset.

Demonstrations of measurements are made using Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) Bluetooth development boards, and Prism Sound's dScope Series III audio analysis platform.

The dScope Series III caters for testing of the many sub-components of Bluetooth headsets and headphones, and analysis of the following areas of functionality are covered:

• Testing the Bluetooth radio link, checking for audio drop-outs
• Serial digital audio interfaces and converters (DACs, ADCs)
• Signal processing
• Power amplifiers
• Electroacoustic components; headphones & microphones
