Bob Fix Mastering invests in a Prism Sound DA-2 DA Converter

Cambridge, UK: Bob Fix Mastering has recently bought a Prism Sound DA-2 DA converter for its studio based in the Italian city of Naples. The unit was purchased though Prism Sound's Italian distributor, Funky Junk, and the company's eponymous owner, Bob Fix, explains that he bought it to have a second DA feeding his analogue chain.

"In the case of a DA converter like this, more than features, it's the sound that's important. I just like it," he comments. "It's how the analogue chain responds downstream. It fits in very well. I have found out that I have been using the DA-2 about 90% of the time compared to the other DA."
