Absolute Music adds Prism Sound recording products to its portfolio
Cambridge, UK: We have appointed leading independent music retailer Absolute Music as a main dealer for all of our recording products.
Chris Allen (Prism Sound) with Tom Osborne, Absolute Music's Pro Audio Specialist
Based in Poole, Dorset, where it has a 10,000 square foot distribution centre and a 4,500 square foot showroom, Absolute Music is a main dealer for many top brands including TC Electronic, Mackie, M-Audio, Focusrite and Genelec. Its 30-strong staff are all musicians and/or engineers, making them ideally placed to recommend the right products for customers' needs.
Absolute Music director Andy Legg says: "We aim to give customers a better quality of service and greater value than they can get anywhere else. We are passionate about the music business and highly committed to both our customers and our suppliers."
Among the Prism Sound products now carried by Absolute Music are the award-winning ADA-8XR multichannel converters, the Orpheus FireWire computer interface and products from Prism Sound's popular Maselec range of equalizers, mic pre amps and compressors.
"We are delighted to add Prism Sound recording products to our range because they have such a strong reputation, especially at the top end of the market," Andy Legg adds. "As part of our demonstration facilities we have a pro audio studio that attracts a large number of high end users. These people may be involved in anything from recording music to handling audio for film and television. Prism Sound's products are renowned for their sonic quality and are therefore ideally suited to the needs of these customers. We see them as a very good fit to our existing portfolio."
Jody Thorne, sales and marketing manager for Prism Sound, adds: "Absolute Music is a great company with a strong reputation for delivering quality and service. We are really pleased that they have come on board as a Prism Sound main dealer and look forward to a long and successful relationship with them."
