Slithers: 16 Channel mic/line
16 Channel mic/line modular I/O expansion card
This slither card can be used as an input device in both the PCM-H64 expansion rack and the LRX2 location recorder. In microphone mode, each channel can provide up to 65dB of mic gain individually adjustable in 1dB steps to allow for careful trimming of mic signals. Phantom power is available on each input and can be switched individually. Alternatively, any input can be switch to line mode. Each input is then fed to high quality 192k 24bit analogue to digital converters.¹The card plugs directly into the PCM-H64 or LRX2 system and the interconnections are made available on a 25way female D-type. Cables can be supplied as an optional extra.
¹ Please note that 192kHz operation is not currently fully supported in the LRX2.
