'Surprised and delighted' is how Allen & Heath design engineer Simon Tretheway describes his reaction to winning an XBox games console in Prism Sound's Test and Measurement newsletter competition.

Although he uses Prism Sound's dScope audio analyzer every day to evaluate Allen & Heath's mixing consoles, Simon is the first to admit that he rarely enters competitions - and is even less likely to win them.

"I was reading Prism Sound's newsletter during a quiet moment just before Christmas and though I'd enter the competition for the fun of it," he says. "I certainly never expected to win but I'm glad I did because the prize turned up just in time for my son Sam's 15th birthday. We've both had a lot of enjoyment from it since."
