Add professional audio testing to your LabVIEW or TestStand application
Users of National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand software can now take advantage of the power, reliability and flexibility of the Prism Sound dScope III audio analyzer.
Whether designing, verifying or manufacturing devices with an audio component, the ability to use industry standard software tools with the high performance dScope Series III audio analyzer enables rapid development of integrated test solutions incorporating other generic test equipment or data acquisition systems.
The combination of these products will enable users to build sophisticated test solutions for testing devices such as cell phones, CD/DVD/MP3 players as well as car radios, HDTV and professional audio equipment.
All dScope III functions are available to LabVIEW and TestStand through ActiveX technology. Visual Basic Scripts can be created within the powerful dScope software that performs a combination of audio test steps for use in LabVIEW. These scripts can also be added as a single test step within TestStand through use of the active X adaptor which comes as standard with the TestStand software package.
Prism Sound has provided many solutions based on this scripting technology, for use in research and verification labs, and in production test. The ability to use sophisticated techniques such as multi-tone testing, which is standard on the dScope III, has enabled manufacturers to test their products more accurately while reducing test times.
