"Successful AES3 deployment" at the AES New York
Prism Sound’s
Sales & Marketing director Graham Boswell addressed members of
the Audio Engineering Society in New York on Nov 15th under the
auspices of the AES Distinguished Speakers Programme.
The programme, established in 2004, provides local AES sections with
guest speakers whose knowledge and expertise can throw new light on the
latest technological developments in audio and broadcasting.
Graham Boswell’s talk covered interconnection
trouble-shooting in systems and devices employing the AES3
interface. Boswell explained how the Prism Sound DSA-1
hand-held AES/EBU Signal Analyser/Generator and dScope Series III audio
analyzer can be used to perform interface trouble-shooting easily and
comprehensively.
During the talk, Boswell highlighted the unit’s new DSA-1
Manager software for Windows XP™ that allows the DSA-1 to be
linked to a computer and accessed and operated remotely from any
computer, anywhere in the world.
