Prism Sound SNS Plugin - Discontinued
Since SADiE joined the Prism Sound family, the first project that uses shared technology is the implementation of Prism Sound's SNS Super Noise Shaping as dithering option in SADiE.
SNS can operate at sample rates between 44.1 kHz and 192 kHz and is used to reduce longer word lengths to standard 16 bits, while retaining a high degree of perceived dynamic efficiency and very low noise.
SNS offers four different algorithms which increase the degree of shaping. SNS spectra are adjusted automatically to provide optimum subjective advantage at each different sample rate. Additionally an "Auto Zero" function is provided so that noise shaping will switch off soon after a "silence" threshold is detected.
